I think the idea is you play 2 on Friday and you know the weather is good then you only have to find time to play 1 between Saturday and Sunday. Don't want to plan on the doubleheader on Sunday when you can also run into travel issues

Semantics as Saturday is national TV game so can't reschedule earlier than day of game. You then move Saturday to one game Sunday.

The first pitch for tomorrow's (Saturday) game between NC State and Miami has been moved from 7:30 PM to 7:00 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Losing Dude and Marohn has been devastating. Heath Andrews is pretty awful and we have too many black holes in the lineup.

I bet there are a lot of pitchers that would love to have the leash that Andrews has had in his career at State. It's like just because he fits the State profile of a starter (LHP or 6'3+ RHP) he is immune to performance.

If we wanted a chance to win the series, and going forward, you needed to go (in no order)- nance/garino/hemrick. Those are your best arms right now, see if they can get you 4-5 innings because you're right- I guess a 3 year sample size of andrews not being good just isn't big enough

In college baseball a 2-0 count should be basically an automatic take for the batter. Our guys love to swing at that for some reason.

You have a guy on 2nd, no outs, and a chance to put real pressure on the pitcher. Smallest guy on the team pops one up to center trying to swing for the fences. Just take the walk.
