What you said is true, but he got a bad call on the second strike. That ball was off the plate by quite a bit.

Avent loves changing pitchers mid count. Really not sure the reason for that. Hell this year he pinch hit a guy mid count.

If you swing at a pitch and get hit it's still a strike. They were probably conferring to see if he pulled the bat back, which he did and then went to review.

Even their guy that doesn't hit HR's hits one. Meanwhile our guys can't buy big fly ball across the entire lineup. Just maddening...
