COMMIT ALERT: Texas OF Maddox Monsour Will Transfer to NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Texas freshman outfielder Maddox Monsour.

Monsour, who played at Carrolton (GA), started 14 games and played in 36 as a true freshman.

He batted .185 (10-for-54) with 12 runs, one triple, one homer, 10 RBI and seven stolen bases.

A highly-regarded prep prospect, Monsour was rated the No. 228 prospect overall by Perfect Game.
