That's the complaint, genius. Obama's deal didn't have any deaths or raise gas prices and Iran was complying with the inspections.

All that was true except the last part. So it was an unsuccessful bribe, not a deal.

Let me clarify then: Iran was complying with the inspections until Trump withdrew from the agreement.

Specifically, the IAEA reported that Iran:
kept uranium enrichment below the 3.67% cap, stayed under the 300 kg enriched uranium limit, limited operating centrifuges as required, and allowed extensive inspections and monitoring.

That said, the Trump administration argued the deal was flawed for broader strategic reasons, including:
it did not restrict Iran's ballistic missile program (laughable considering his comments today), it did not address Iran's regional proxy activities, some restrictions would expire ("sunset clauses"), and officials claimed Iran violated the "spirit" of the agreement even if it was technically complying with the nuclear provisions.

After the U.S. withdrew and reimposed sanctions, Iran initially continued complying for about a year, then gradually exceeded the deal's limits beginning in 2019.

I would love if we could get a better deal, but unfortunately, I live in the real world and don't just blindly trust everything Trump says.

This is not a peace deal. There is an understanding that they will continue talking and try to reach a peace deal in 60 days. If Iran does not behave they will get bombed. If they start meeting certain criteria, then they will slowly get some of the funds that have been frozen. What we have right now is a pause. Iran has a choice to make. Do what they signed on to do or be obliterated. No U. S. Forces are going anywhere for a while. Trump has all the leverage. Obama never had any.

Again let it play out and see where we go. There is plenty in the works behind the scenes. Americans don't want troops on the ground. Ok then we destroy them economically where they have to either give in or get destroyed. Trump is giving them an out to save face, but he is not letting them off the hook.

This regime murdered tens of thousands of their own citizens, they were responsible for October 7th, they are responsible for the war in Gaza, and they have consistently maintained their main goal is to eradicate Israel off the map and to murder as many Americans as possible.

As a reward for all this, the US is now going to allow Iran to become richer than they have in the last 47 years.

Great negotiations. In 60 days you know what we're going to have? Jack squat.

Yeah I've gotta agree with you here, from what I've read this is a terrible deal and there's no chance Israel will be able to adhere to it.
