Landon Church could be slept on some, ranked as a 10 by PG and he ran a 6.36 60 a year ago per the PG website.

Alm ran a 6.39 per the PG site and I saw an interview with Monsour saying he clocked a 6.32.

So much speed.

Heard good stuff about Church but if he's an infielder not sure where his spot would be

As of now, projecting Serrano at 3rd and Novy at 1st?

I wasn't speaking of any specific position but I don't see any reason why Church couldn't play in the OF, especially with that type of speed.

Yeah he presumably could move to the outfield. Luke did it out of necessity but when else has it happened? For a guy recruited as an infielder

Off the top of my head, Vance Honeycutt, Tyler McDonough, Devonte Brown, Josh McLain and Jake Fincher.

I could probably find more if I took the time to look.

Interesting, yeah would make sense right now. I'd prefer him to Monsour for sure

Why for sure? Similar recruiting rankings and athletes and one that has 16 starts on a top 5 team vs an incoming freshman.

K rate over 40% in 60 PAs is terrifying. I'd prefer to just take a chance on a complete unknown

Perhaps Chris Hart is confused and thinks he's coaching the track team?

Got to walk or hit to actually use the speed. Lots of fast guys in baseball never see the field due to this. Striking out a ton while also batting under the mendoza line with a decent sample size says speed alone aint getting him on the field. It didn't at Texas.

He's playing for the Duluth Huskies this summer. He's played in two games so far - 6 ABs and 3 Ks! Small sample but 50% is not good.

left out the part that he is 2/6 with 2 doubles, 2 walks and a HBP. Personally, I am fine with a .556 OBP. Reps will only help him and his K rate.

also, K rate goes off of plate appearances, not ABs. So its a 33% K rate. Which is still too high, of course, but context matters
