NC State junior outfielder Devin Mitchell informed Inside Pack Sports he will be transferring and has entered the portal.
A JUCO transfer, Mitchell hit .250 this year with two hits in eight at-bats. He started one game and had a double, home run, and four RBIs on the season.
Mitchell is the first position player to announce his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
