Perfect Game and Under Armour All-American, three time team USA baseball alum. Goes to Oregon State and doesn't play, transfers to Juco and hits .355 with a .500 OBP in two years and ends up at Jackson State lol.

He is at the MLB combine so wouldn't give my hopes up.

His bro committed to unc out of HS but was drafted by the Braves in the first round of the 2014 draft. They could be in the mix too. Just guessing.

looking at the roster, i wonder if this was a mutual thing. No offense to him, but Mannino put up pretty average JUCO numbers and we have 5 incoming freshmen arms, 3 transfer commits and still 8 or so guys coming back (as of now). 16+ guys, with probably a couple more to come from the portal, is quite the log jam.

yeah i dont think we can compete with UGA for money. They are heavily invested in baseball. Baylor? Who knows.

How many decommitments have we had over the last month? Three? Is there a reason, like Avent retiring, or just getting outbid? I know we lost the kid from South Johnston high school to ECU because he felt he would not be able to bat, just pitch.

I'm not sure the exact number, maybe 2 or 3 guys have , but I HIGHLY doubt it was due to being outbid. None of these kids are can't miss stars that will demand a bag

And Alm is a 6.39 guy. We definitely need a masher at 1st and perhaps that's Novy but this guy, Rhett, Warren we will be a terror on the base paths. All that to say no guarantees this guy starts but young, talented and coached 1year by one of the best.
